Role Overview
The Chief of Staff to the CEO/Chief Revenue Officer will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives that align with our mission. This position requires a strategic leader who excels in managing complex projects, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and supporting the execution of high-level initiatives. As the Chief Revenue Officer, you are a vital partner to the CEO and will help shape strategies that support growth and position Upwage as a leader in AI recruitment technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnerships and Financial Analysis: Develop and enhance strategic partnerships with key clients. Showcase the capabilities of our AI solutions and align them with client objectives. Build and refine ROI models to demonstrate the financial impact of our solutions, providing crucial insights for client engagements and decision-making.
- Go-to-Market Strategy Execution: Assist in developing and executing go-to-market strategies that communicate our mission effectively. Collaborate across teams to deliver unified responses to market challenges and opportunities.
- Customer Success Alignment: Implement strategies that drive customer retention, renewal, and expansion by leveraging AI solutions to meet broader business objectives.
- Revenue Growth Initiatives: Lead initiatives aimed at boosting revenue through optimized financial strategies and operational efficiency.
- Investor Relations and Fundraising: Support fundraising initiatives and contribute to investor relations, including participating in quarterly board meetings.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 7+ years of experience in strategic or operational leadership roles, with a focus on high-growth environments; experience within technology or AI-centric organizations is a plus.
- Experience with the development and execution of go-to-market strategies and revenue growth operations.
- Strong track record in strategic planning, project management, and execution.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, constructing ROI analyses, and supporting business scenarios, ideally with experience in management consulting or corporate finance.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership and servant-leader mindset, with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Passion for innovative technologies and their application to real-world challenges, with an interest in recruitment and HR technology solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Executive-level experience, particularly in a venture-backed startup environment.
- Experience in strategic decision-making and driving business growth, with a focus on revenue operations.
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools and their potential impact on business operations.
