Our client is seeking a contract UX Researcher to support product and experience research across their family of products. In this temporary assignment, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to help identify user needs, evaluate concepts and experiences, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations. This is a temporary role and is not a full-time employment opportunity.

Our client is seeking a contract UX Researcher to support product and experience research across their family of products. In this temporary assignment, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to help identify user needs, evaluate concepts and experiences, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations. This is a temporary role and is not a full-time employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute end-to-end UX research using appropriate qualitative and/or quantitative methods (e.g., interviews, usability testing, diary studies, surveys, concept testing).
- Develop research plans, discussion guides, and study materials aligned to project goals.
- Conduct analysis and synthesize findings into insights, frameworks, and recommendations.
- Must be very comfortable with utilizing AI tools in each phase of the research workflow.
- Present research findings to stakeholders in clear, concise deliverables (readouts, reports, and/or workshops).
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Product, Design, Content, Data Science) to inform product direction and improve user experience.
- Support rapid research cycles to inform iterative product development.
- Strong quantitative research skills — designing, fielding, and analyzing large/complex surveys.
- Core UX research craft: method selection, translating findings into actionable product/design recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder influence — ability to build relationships with and present to leadership in a horizontal, collaborative org.
- Strong sense of curiosity; receptive to feedback; comfortable with ambiguity.
- Vendor/supplier management, including giving performance feedback.
- Mixed-method and qual depth; tracker build experience; consumer/messaging (WhatsApp) domain.
- AI native.
- 10+ years experience or 5+ years of experience conducting UX research or human-centered research (industry, consulting, or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
