A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract Non-Technical Business Systems Analyst to help support their business needs.

The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business strategies
  • Gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for developers
  • Serve as a liaison between business teams and IT to deliver effective technical solutions
  • Support complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support system implementation decisions
  • Contribute to multiple projects as a team member, ensuring alignment with timelines and deliverables
  • Analyze complex problems and develop innovative, data-driven solutions
  • Support UAT processes, including test planning, execution, and validation
  • Assist with user training and enablement for new systems and processes
  • Provide operational support and troubleshoot system and process issues

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred
  • 2-4+ years of relevant experience in business analysis or related roles
  • Basic understanding of programming concepts and the ability to read code
  • Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines
  • Experience supporting business operations and improving process efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Power BI for reporting and data visualization
  • Experience supporting UAT processes
  • Exposure to product management or product lifecycle activities
  • Experience delivering user training and documentation
  • Experience providing operational or production support

Hours and Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week
  • Hybrid in Warren, MI - 3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week
