Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Atlanta, GA.

While in this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define strategy and drive features to execution. You will work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Technical Operations, and the development team.

You be responsible for creating the product roadmap and communicating on behalf of the team with stakeholders and leadership. We are seeking a systems thinker who acts like an owner with a sharp focus on the end user.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate a detailed product roadmap outlining features, priorities, and timelines
  • Prioritize features and initiatives based on business value, impact, and risk
  • Translate customer and stakeholder needs into clear, comprehensive product requirements and specifications
  • Author use cases and user stories and partner with engineering leads to prioritize enhancements
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to ensure requirements are clear, achievable, and well understood
  • Oversee development activities to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions
  • Define and oversee testing processes to ensure product readiness prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Facilitate UAT, including rollout planning, procedures, and coordination
  • Present product updates, risks, and recommendations to steering committees and project sponsors
  • Develop, track, and manage project plans, timelines, scope, dependencies, and risks
  • Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support effective execution across the product lifecycle
  • Work closely with cross-functional business partners to align product delivery with organizational goals
  • Own day-to-day product execution rhythm, balancing strategic planning with ongoing delivery oversight

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science or computer engineering
  • Project or product management certification (PMP, PMI, or equivalent)
  • 5-10 years of experience in product management
  • Software development background with at least 5 years of experience
  • Proven experience in software product management within large-scale, multi-platform environments
  • Experience delivering technology and business application solutions across all phases of the product lifecycle
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risk and apply sound management principles
  • Hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Strong people management and team-building capabilities
  • Proven ability to quickly learn business processes and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Experience owning projects, gathering requirements, and driving stakeholder value
  • Experience working closely with development teams to plan and manage execution tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in dynamic environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in media environments or broadcast control room systems
  • Cloud platform experience
