Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team. A successful candidate will have completed 3-5 years in the practice of public accountancy, where they experienced all aspects of federal and state tax compliance, tax research, and planning. An ideal candidate will possess the desire to become involved in all aspects of public accounting, have strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the willingness to learn new skills.

We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts, and related income tax workpapers
- Tax planning and consulting
- Respond to and prepare correspondence to tax authorities
- Maintain current knowledge of changes in tax laws and regulations
- Provide excellent client service by producing quality work, quick turnaround and attentive service
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in public accounting
- Excellent understanding of the Internal Revenue Code and Regulations, and ability to apply in performing tax compliance and planning duties
- Team-oriented and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction
- Work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Detail oriented
- Self-starter
- Integrity within a professional environment
- Experience with ProSeries is a plus
