We are seeking a Senior SAP Logistics Project Manager on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and execute complex cross-functional supply chain transformation initiatives within business applications
- Manage timelines and execution for IT and business-led transportation, warehousing, distribution, and 3PL projects
- Lead process improvement and change management efforts across logistics and transportation programs
- Drive projects from ideation and evaluation through implementation, including software deployments, product launch scale-ups, system upgrades, and facility expansions
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain integrated logistics and transportation program/project timelines and governance
- Establish and drive global project management best practices for logistics execution, ensuring standardized methods are applied regionally
- Align cross-functional stakeholders on strategies, goals, resources, and timelines across Finance, Manufacturing & Operations, Infrastructure, Product Quality, Regulatory & Compliance, Field Service, and other business units
- Organize and lead core team meetings and executive steering committee meetings, including status reporting to sponsors
- Identify and resolve constraints, conflicts, and risks that could impact successful project delivery
- Communicate project status, critical path, dependencies, and risks across the organization
- Create and manage project plans and assign tasks to project team members to ensure execution accountability
- Manage project deliverables and ensure quality standards are met, including kickoff presentations, schedules, budgets, blueprints, test plans, training plans, and change management documentation
- Lead organizational change management efforts, including stakeholder analysis, communications plans, training materials, end-user training, and adoption planning
- Track, manage, and escalate project issues as needed to ensure timely resolution
- Ensure compliance with internal quality system requirements and applicable external regulatory standards
- Manage partnerships with third-party system integrators, SAP Services, and other service providers
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- PMP certification required
- SAP supply chain project management experience required
- Scrum Master certification (CSM) preferred
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA projects required, including phased global implementations
- Knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP S/4, EWM, and TMS preferred
- 7-10+ years of experience working across business and IT with strong project delivery experience
- 8+ years of experience leading major cross-functional projects in manufacturing operations preferred
- Proven experience in SAP lead roles such as Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or COE Technical Lead
- Experience leading multi-module SAP ERP implementations, including ECC6.0 and/or S/4HANA
- Demonstrated success delivering end-to-end SAP implementations across mid-size and large manufacturing environments
- Experience leading Agile technical project teams for rollout execution
- Strong supply chain domain knowledge across Deliver/Logistics, Plan, Make, and Source
- Experience managing third-party implementation partners and vendor relationships
- Proficiency with MS Office and Jira
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to lead and influence across all organizational levels in cross-functional environments
- Strong ability to manage ambiguity and oversee multiple programs/projects simultaneously
- Medical device industry experience preferred
- People leadership or supervisory experience preferred
