Head of Embodied Intelligence Research
Positioning: A future-oriented embodied intelligence research leader. Build foundational models for embodied perception and manipulation targeting the physical worlds of healthcare and science, with ultrasound robots as the first validation ground — deliberately avoiding the red ocean of humanoid robots and general-purpose physical AGI.
Core Responsibilities
Define the research agenda for foundational embodied perception-manipulation models targeting the physical worlds of healthcare and science.
Use the ultrasound robot as the first grounded validation platform, with extension pathways to other healthcare and scientific domains.
Build a frontier embodied intelligence research team, in close synergy with the Medical AI and Life Science pillars.
Requirements
Frontier embodied/robot learning leader: Proven track record in VLA, manipulation, world models, and related directions, with demonstrated real-robot results.
Strong publication record and technical taste — ability to identify paths that compound over time and build defensible moats.
Willingness to root deeply in the physical worlds of healthcare and science.

Ultrasound Robot — The Flagship Embodied Intelligence Scenario
Addressing the pain point of primary-care ultrasound — significant physician shortages and low standardization — the lab uses embodied AI + robotics to replicate the physician's full "scan–examine–diagnose" workflow. By combining systems engineering with algorithmic innovation, the goal is to deliver an integrated hardware-software product that elevates the intelligence level of primary-care ultrasound examinations. This serves as a critical real-world validation and deployment of embodied intelligence technology in a vertical scenario.
RynnBot Education — An Integrated Teaching and Practice Platform for Embodied Intelligence
Spanning K-12, vocational, and undergraduate levels, the platform delivers a through-line embodied intelligence curriculum integrating hardware and software. It comprises four pillars — educational content products, educational hardware products, cloud services (university community, AI SDK), and an open-source ecosystem (VLA, chips, data) — forming an end-to-end pipeline from teaching and research through development, simulation, and deployment, cultivating embodied intelligence talent and fostering industry-wide ecosystem growth.
Our Industry Impact
