The Role:

Reside Health is looking for Medical Assistants to help us provide exceptional primary care at our practices. This role combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is someone who is energetic, excited about working in a new environment, willing to think outside of the box, and passionate about patient care. A passion for technology is also a must-have.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Greet patients when they arrive, helping to get their visit off to a great start, and helping patients “check-out” by making sure all of their questions are answered and helping them organize any follow-up or referrals
• Manage clinical-related phone calls, voicemails, emails, and text messages regarding clinical inquiries, medication refill requests, and follow ups with practitioners among other topics
• Be knowledgeable about Reside Health's membership model and current offerings to support member acquisition
• Perform phlebotomy, vitals, ECGs, blood-spinning, and specimen handling
• Complete requests including refills, form completion, prior authorizations, and insurance-based referrals
• Manage medical supplies and other medical equipment
• Assist or chaperone practitioners whenever needed during procedures and exams
• Work with providers to review lab results and coordinate follow up with practitioner as necessary
• Making sure patient rooms are stocked and cleaned
• Maintaining the lab area is cleaned and properly stocked

Must-have qualifications and expertise include:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Up-to-date Medical Assistant certification CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant)
• Previous experience using Athena EHR preferred
• Previous experience using Phreesia a plus!t
• Up-to-date Certifications: BLS and Blood Pathogen
• Technologically savvy
• Minimum 4 years experience in primary care or a related area
• Shift and Location flexibility
• Passionate about primary care, can adapt and flex easily, and values teamwork

Job Type: Full-time and in-person at our Manhattan clinics

Pay & Benefits: $26 - $28 per hour (HOURLY), 401(k), Health/Vision/Dental insurance, Paid time off
