Our primary offering is a subscription service where we deliver "whoa awesome," hands-on projects to kids. We also manage an e-commerce storefront and a content platform to inspire and educate. Our office is located in Mountain View, CA within walking distance to the Caltrain station. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with 3-4 office days per week (depending on your team) and the remainder of the week working remotely.
About the Job:
We’re looking for a data-driven performance marketer with strong analytical skills and a passion for impact. You’re naturally curious, keep up with industry trends, and know how to turn insights into action. You’ll join our team to lead our marketing efforts on Google. This includes Paid Search (SEM), Shopping, and YouTube. Over time you’ll also take on emerging channels like Amazon, Direct Mail and beyond. You thrive in cross-functional environments, take projects from idea to execution, and know how to scale what works. - Manage Paid Search campaigns end to end across Google Ads and Bing Ads, including keyword research, ongoing negative keyword maintenance, and ad copywriting. Collaborate with design and development teams to optimize landing pages, ensuring alignment with ad messaging
- Lead strategy and execution for Google Shopping campaigns, overseeing all aspects of Google Merchant Center management. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and optimizing product feeds, resolving disapprovals, and applying best practices to enhance product visibility and performance. Use performance data to iteratively refine campaign structure, bidding strategies, and product categorization for revenue growth
- Results-oriented, data-driven marketer with a strong track record of building and maintaining insightful dashboards. Skilled at transforming data into actionable strategies and executing initiatives that drive measurable outcomes
- Innovator who stays informed about the latest industry updates. Keeps peers, crossfunctional partners, and leadership informed about industry trends. Tests into new technology and strategies early and quickly scales successes
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Skilled at assessing urgency and importance to ensure critical objectives are met without compromising quality
- Efficiently manage large budgets. Own strategy, management, measurement, testing, and execution of new digital campaigns
- Comfortable working with internal creative teams to ensure assets align with campaign goals and channel best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Role Requirements:
We seek team players with an infectious positive energy and a get-it-done attitude. Candidates must thrive in ambiguity, love a rapid pace and have a strong desire to learn and improve.
- 2+ years hands on experience managing SEM and Google Shopping. Ideally with responsibility for $100k+ monthly budget
- BA/BS degree in Marketing or related field
- Understanding of pixels, tags, cookies, and how tracking works
- Driven to identify inefficiencies in existing workflows and marketing playbooks and systematically works to improve them
- Demonstrated ability to be resourceful in the face of obstacles, take initiative to solve problems, and practice good judgement
- Excellent quantitative and data analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with tools like Google Analytics, Excel, Looker Studio, or SQL
- Up-to-date with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and how they impact audience targeting
The starting pay range for this position is between $75,000 and $85,000 per year. However, the final base salary offered may differ based on several factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and business needs.
In addition to base pay, KiwiCo offers a comprehensive total rewards package, which may include opportunities for an annual bonus, stock options, and a variety of benefits related to health, financial security, and well-being. Specific details about these benefits will be shared if an offer of employment is extended.
