KiwiCo is an innovative e-commerce company that sparks kids’ creativity and curiosity through offline and online materials and inspiration. We offer kids a delightful, engaging way to explore, create, and learn. Our core offering is a subscription service. We design and deliver awesome hands-on projects to kids. We also manage an e-commerce storefront and content platform. We take great pride and ownership in the products we build and in the community of parents and kids, we serve. This role will work fully onsite at our warehouse in Lathrop, CA.
We’re looking for a self-sufficient and ambitious Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to take on a key role within our team that spans from inbound logistics, and inventory control functions to fulfillment and order management. We’re looking for a person who is scrappy, well-organized, curious and enjoys testing and measuring solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Become a Warehouse Management System (WMS) superuser to provide assistance in the training of warehouse associates and to help identify, flag, and resolve issues within the system.
  • Provide administrative support, updating, maintaining, and monitoring data in appropriate systems to ensure smooth operations and data integrity.
  • Identify and document process issues that require troubleshooting and short/long term fixes, the surface to the correct channels, and help train on solutions, including creating SOP for dealing with ongoing order issues.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives, launching new partnerships, and developing new processes for emerging markets.
  • Ability to lead teams, provide direction, and guidance, and make decisions. Onboard new team members, conduct performance reviews, motivate team members, and create strategies to boost productivity.
  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to support team members' ongoing development and growth.
  • Roll out new processes and fulfillment changes to your team.
  • Educate all team members and provide high-quality feedback on the process and their performance and impact.
  • Manage daily tasks that impact operational effectiveness and execution of departmental goals.
  • Create and provide requested productivity reports to track ongoing efficiency and new process implementations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working in one or more of the following: supply chain, operations, inventory management, warehouse data management, or logistics.
  • Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have a hands-on, "get things done" mentality. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet challenging deadlines, and manage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Proven ability to see a project from the idea stage through successful completion - and do whatever it takes to make it a success. Hurdles are inevitable, but you take it upon yourself to take ownership, assess options, create solutions, and get projects done.
  • You are comfortable working with a variety of systems and basic business tools like Google Docs.
  • You have intermediate Excel skills (eg. pivot tables, Vlookup formulas, reporting).
  • You have an analytical mindset for understanding why problems happen and are able to identify issues and find solutions.
  • We move quickly, but we bring care and thoughtfulness to everything we do. You care deeply about the details.
  • Ability to work well within cross-functional teams and a strong sense of ownership.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Supply Chain, or Operations related fields.
  • Preferred WMS/ERM experience is a plus
  • Bilingual - Spanish is a plus
