  • Design and oversee the development of robust, scalable test strategies and fixtures used in manufacturing.

  • Serve as a key technical expert and escalation point for complex issues arising in development, production, and in the field.

  • Define and enforce engineering best practices to ensure all electrical designs and system solutions meet and exceed requirements and marketing specifications.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with program management to define project scopes, schedules, and budgets, ensuring technical feasibility and successful execution.

  • Perform advanced engineering calculations, measurements, and analysis to guide new development and resolve sustaining engineering challenges.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • 6+ years of experience in an Electrical Engineering role, with a proven track record of shipping products.

  • Extensive experience designing complex microcontroller-based products containing multiple hardware interfaces (GPIO, SPI, I2C, USART, USB).

  • Knowledge of RF communication concepts, including RF power amplifiers, filter circuits, and antenna design.

  • Proven experience with power supply design, including AC/DC and DC/DC converters and battery charging systems.

  • Strong understanding and practical application of DFM/DFA principles in collaboration with contract manufacturers.

  • Proficiency with schematic capture and layout tools (Altium preferred).

  • Proven ability to lead technical projects with a high degree of autonomy and take ownership of outcomes from concept to completion.

  • Expertise with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition systems, and programmable power supplies.

  • Working knowledge of commercial and military performance standards such as FCC, CE, IEC, Mil-Std-810, and Mil-Std-461.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and information to other functional departments within the organization

Preferred Experience:

  • Understanding of ISO 9000 and other quality-related best practices and certifications.

  • Familiarity with a scripting language, especially Python.

  • Exposure to agile development practices.

  • Preference for working in the innovative, fast-paced environment of a startup.
