The Mental Health Counselor provides direct patient care to adolescents and adults under the supervision of clinical staff and program director. Our program is a 24-hour level of care facility.

This is a part-time position

Schedule: Monday to Friday 3 pm to 9 pm

Pay: $17-$23

Responsibilities Include:

  • Greeting visitors, guests and clients in a professional manner
  • Answering phones, transfer calls and take messages for Business line and/or Admissions line
  • Answering questions about the business or offering brochures with business information
  • Performing general clerical duties including photocopying, faxing and mailing
  • Placing orders for office supplies and maintain office supply inventory and office equipment
  • Gathering information and completing the application form from potential patients and families that call the center inquiring about the program
  • Scheduling appointments, maintaining and updating calendars


Qualifications:

  • One year of clerical office experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate with all levels of management
  • Understanding of privacy and confidentiality
