About Arise
Care to heal your body and mind

Someone dies of an eating disorder every 52 minutes. This isn’t a niche problem — 5 million Americans will experience this life-threatening condition every year, yet up to 90% will never have access to the care they need. Arise was started by and for people who have lived with eating disorders themselves to build the first tech-driven collaborative care model for eating disorders. Delivered virtually through an app and video sessions, Arise brings together peer support with person-centered clinical care to bring people the right care while expanding access to many more people — including underserved communities like BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and others who don’t fit the incorrect stereotype of what an eating disorder “looks like.” Together, we are building a new kind of care where healing is accessible to all. Arise is backed by leading VCs and growing quickly to expand access to eating disorder care across new states & populations this year.

We’re hiring a Registered Dietitian to provide direct care to members on their healing journey from eating disorders and mental health.

We are seeking dietitians with expertise in treating individuals with eating disorders who are committed to providing culturally sensitive, compassionate, and person-centered care. The ideal dietitian is passionate about serving individuals from diverse backgrounds and providing care based on the foundation of mutual trust, respect, and collaboration. • Exceptional interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication and experience working with electronic health records
  • Experience working with diverse communities, including across diverse identities including race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic background
  • Experience working with teens and their families
  • Empathy, humility, and alignment with our mission and core values

Nice to have

  • Passion and experience for food access & insecurity
  • Previous experience working with individuals with psychiatric conditions
  • Interest in participating in speaking engagements and/or research
  • Credentials with Aetna and other insurance networks

Benefits:

  • Unlimited PTO with a minimum of two weeks off so you actually take time for yourself!
  • Competitive health plans
  • One Medical and Kindbody memberships
  • 401(k) because we’re here to support you in investing in your future
  • Mental health benefits
  • Flex/fun days to give you more time to rest and recharge

Our Values:

  • Listen to lead. We’re not going to have all the answers. To effectively serve every person’s healing journey, we must start by humbly listening to and elevating all voices and experiences.
  • Everybody matters. We’re here for people of any age, race, size, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, and background, because everyone deserves to be understood, respected, and supported.
  • We’re all human. Being human means that we celebrate our successes together and support each other through the low points. We give each other the space to rise and fall and rise again.

The Arise team is located all over the country and this is a remote role. Travel for attendance at company and team offsites, marketing events and initiatives, and conferences may be required. We strongly encourage people who identify as BIPOC, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and members of other historically underserved communities to apply!
